News|OSIM Singapore International Triathlon 2010Competitors and spectators are set to flock from all over the world to take part in or watch the event, which takes place on April 10th and 11th. The majority of the race happens around the East Coast Park region of Singapore, which provides plenty of vantage points for crowds keen to cheer on the racers. Some of the world's top athletes are likely to turn out for the gruelling race, which kicks off with a 1.5km swim in the open sea followed by a 40km bike ride. After that, participants must hop out of the saddle and hit the road as they complete a punishing 10km run to the finish line. The weekend also includes a Kids' Triathlon open to brave youngsters under the age of 14, as well as a Mini Triathlon for adults not quite up to the challenge of the main event.
