auspicious feasts at Café 2000 and The Buffet! Bask in treasured moments with your loved ones as
our Eight Treasure specials take centre stage at the Hotpot Buffet Dinner and Semi Buffet Dinner
this Lunar New Year.

Hotpot Buffet Dinner
Brewed to perfection over slow fire, the nourishing Eight Treasure Hotpot
broth at The Buffet rings in a healthy and prosperous New Year for you and your family. Packed full
of goodness, the Eight Treasure broth is prepared with eight traditional Chinese herbs namely Red
Dates (Hong Zao), Wolfberries (Gou Qi), Codonopsis Pilosulae (Dang Shen), Chinese Angelica Root
(Dang Gui), Ginseng Root, Licorice Root and Polygonatum Odoratum (Yu Zhu) together with pork ribs
and pork bones.
Ask Executive Chef Sunny Goh on why this herbal concoction is created for the
Lunar New Year and he says, ‘Infusing eight different herbs that comprise of various properties and
benefits can improve one’s blood circulation, boost energy levels, reduce blood pressure and
alleviate the overall health and wellbeing. Moreover, with eight being an auspicious number for the
Chinese, we would like to wish one and all a healthy and prosperous year of the Tiger.’
Complement this nutritious treat with a mouthwatering spread of over sixty
fresh seafood, thinly sliced meats and leafy vegetables. Also lined up on the buffet is a wide
selection of sauces and condiments for your tasting pleasure. All these along with our signature
LIVE herbal drunken prawns, wok-fried crabs and tempura, available free flow and prepared on demand
at the Chef’s station.

Semi Buffet Dinner
At Café 2000’s Semi Buffet Dinner this February is a variety of delectable
fusion specialties, which the Eight Treasure herbs are also used in creating the sauce for one of
the main courses. Experience fusion perfection in Chef Sunny’s Braised Duck Thigh with Baby Abalone
and Eight Treasure Sauce or have your pick from Seafood Pasta in Thai Green Curry, Oven-baked Tiger
Prawn with Cantonese Style Lotus Rice and more. In addition to a choice of one main course, the
buffet dinner also features a sumptuous spread of appetisers and desserts including fresh oysters,
mussels and crabs and chef’s LIVE station dishing out salads and pasta a la minute.
Succulent Roasted Meats and Fatt Choy with Assorted Seafood are also available
on the Eve and first three days of Lunar New Year.
