Singapore hotel rooms could be in high demand next May as bookworms and literature fans from far and wide flock to the region for the annual World Book Fair.

Set to run from May 28th through until June 6th next year, the event draws booksellers, publishers, readers and writers from all over Asia and even further afield.

Singapore's SuntecCity Exhibition and Convention Centre is the venue for literary extravaganza, which gives visitors the chance to sample all the latest titles.

As well as delving into a huge collection of new publications and products, guests can meet their favourite authors and writers at scheduled book signings during the event.

The range of titles on offer seems to grow with each year of the festival, incorporating Chinese, English and electronic books and stories from thousands of publishers.

Meanwhile, a series of storytelling sessions will also take place, which could provide ideal entertainment for younger visitors while their parents browse the books on offer.
