Green Vibes - an educational tour of vegetable gardens - takes place in Singapore this weekend, organisers have confirmed.

Led by a horticultural expert, the tour is scheduled to take place at Bishan Park near Bishan Road on Saturday April 25th between 9:00 (local time) and 10:00.

The tour is designed to appeal to green-fingered vegetable lovers who want to discover more about what they consume at the dinner table.

Those who may be heading to the city for the vegetable tour may want to book a room from the many on offer at the M Hotel Singapore.

Green Vibes will take guests on a trail through the heartlands, where there can sample and learn about more than 100 different herbs, spices and vegetables.

The tour is open to all ages and is partcularly aimed at younger gardening enthusiasts, who will have the chance to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding and appreciation of garden vegetables.

Organisers also hope that Green Vibes will engender in attendees a greater appreciation of the importance of maintaining a healthy diet.
