A visit to the Universal Studios in Singapore’s Sentosa Island guarantees an unparalleled adventure of fun and thrills while reliving favourite moments from blockbuster movies and animations. Being the second theme park of Universal Studios newly established in Asia, this 20-hectare theme park is also the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and takes up residence in the eastern extremity of Resorts World Sentosa and features 24 major attractions.

The park comprises seven zones, each one themed according to a certain glamorous place, time or movie and features themed dining and shopping areas in addition to the thrilling rides and interactive displays. The Hollywood Zone is intricately modeled after the real Hollywood Boulevard, complete with palm-framed avenues and the Walk of Fame. This zone contains the park’s primary shopping area as well as the Broadway-style Pantages Hollywood Theatre. New York zone captures the glamour of the multi-ethnic metropolis and unveils the secrets of visual cinematic feats. Sci-Fi City embodies a futuristic metropolis as envisioned in the famous TV series Battlestar Gallactica; this zone contains the added excitement of featuring one of the tallest dueling roller coasters in the world.

Visitors are also invited to experience the Golden Age of Egyptian Exploration as seen in the blockbuster movie, The Mummy. This zone is peppered with majestic pyramids and obelisks and features a high-speed thrill ride known as Revenge of the Mummy. The Lost World zone is split into two: Jurassic Park, which replicates the pre-historic dinosaur kingdom and Waterworld, featuring a sensational live water show. The lush tropical jungles of “Madagascar” and the Kingdom of “Far, Far Away” from Shrek are represented in the last two zones, bringing to life the characters of some of the most famous Dreamworks animations.

M Hotel Singapore is one of the most accessible hotels near Universal Studios and is only 1.3 kilometer or 10 minutes drive to Sentosa Island. Whether travelling in Singapore for business or leisure, Universal Studios is one of the must-see attractions guaranteed to form unforgettable experiences for children and adults alike.
