US heavy metal band Lamb of God are gearing up to rock Singapore when it performs live in the city later this year.

The group will take to the stage at the D'Marquee - Downtown East on April 15th as it arrives in the region during the Asian leg of its current world tour.

Fans can expect to hear tracks from Lamb of God's sixth and most recent album Wrath, which was launched last year to great acclaim from its loyal followers.

The collection includes a number of high-energy tracks in keeping with the band's style, including songs such as Set to Fail, The Passing and In Your Words.

Formed midway through the 1990s, Lamb of God has become one of the biggest and most successful heavy metal bands to emerge from the US in recent years.

The group, which as sold almost two million records in its home country alone, has landed a number of awards and recently toured with legendary rock band Metallica.
