News|Flavours of Southeast Asia in SingaporeHosted by the Hsinghai Art Association, the one-hour concert will start at 3pm. It will feature music from neighbouring countries, including Indonesian folk songs, which could help to put Singapore hotel visitors in a relaxed mood. The association was established in 1973 by a group of youths who shared the same interest and passion for music and the arts. Over the years, the Association has presented many concerts and has collaborated with renowned conductors, musicians, composers and vocalists from China, such as conductor/composer Qu Chun Quan, and conductors Li Hua De and Wang Yong Ji. The Esplanade Concert Hall boasts fantastic acoustics, including reverberation chambers and an acoustic canopy, which can be adapted depending on the type of performance.
