Celebrity cooking expert Chef Khaled will be giving budding food connoisseurs a how-to culinary guide this weekend as part of the Explore Singapore season of cultural events.

Chef Khaled will give cooking demonstrations as part of the Masak-Masak event at the Malay Heritage Centre on Saturday December 6th between 15:00 (local time) and 17:00.

As part of the event, the acclaimed cookery expert will give his professional advice on how to produce a range of delicious Malay-inspired heritage dishes.

Chef Khaled will also cook a smorgasbord of dishes at the event, such as Botok-botok Ikan, Bubor Terigu and the spicy Sambal Tumis Udang.

Admittance to the event is free of charge and all participants will be given a free recipe card as they can try their hands at Chef Khaled's culinary masterpieces in their own kitchens.

Chef Khaled, known for his colourful Malaysian cuisine, became the first ever reality programme winner of Chef Selebriti on Suria, when he scooped the top prize in 2007.

He impressed judges with his modern classical theme for the buffet spread he created with the help of his group friend Chef Akmal.
