News|Army Museum of SingaporeVisitors will have the chance to view a selection of south-east Asian military artefacts at the museum (520 Upper Jurong Road) from Tuesdays to Sundays between 10:00 (local time) and 18:00. The exhibitions allow those interested in Singapore's past to explore the country's troubled pre-independence period to the state of its present Second Generation Army. Visitors will also get the chance to experience full-scale battle scenarios complete with UH1Hs, M114 artillery guns and AMX13 SM1 tanks. There will also be a selection of outdoor exhibits that showcase the museum's military hardware and a chance for visitors to sample a taste of the field craft training that real-life soldiers are put through. For youngsters, there will be a mini obstacle course in the museum's Adventure Land, which is designed to give little ones an idea of the fitness levels required for becoming a fully-fledged soldier.
