Singapore hotel rooms could be hard to come by when fast-rising US rock band Paramore arrives in the city later this year.

The five-piece group is due to take the stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 7th as it seeks to build on its burgeoning global reputation over the next 12 months.

Founded in 2004, Paramore has secured a strong following in recent years, with its 2007 album Riot! going platinum in the US and finding favour among fans across the world.

Fresh from the success of its latest collection Brand New Eyes, which became the band's highest-charting album to date on its release in 2009, the group now plans to take to the road for a series of live performances.

Audiences attending the Singapore gig can expect to hear a run-through of tracks from Brand New Eyes, including Ignorance, Brick By Boring Brick and The Only Exception.

The band is also likely to play a series of hits from its previous albums, including songs such as Decode and I Caught Myself, both of which featured on the soundtrack for the 2008 movie hit Twilight.
