News|Blackbird in SingaporeHosted by the DBS Arts Centre on Merbau Road, the show will run from March 6th - 20th. The play tells the story of former lovers Una and Ray, who meet in person for the first time in 15 years. A chance picture in a magazine has led her back to him, and the story focuses around her motives for finding him. Guilt, desire and bitterness is mixed into a fascinating stage production which guests in Singapore hotels should not miss. Blackbird won the 2007 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Play, and has been described by the New York Times as "the most powerful drama of the season". Controversial and thought-provoking, it looks set to be the Singapore Repertory Theatre's new runaway success, following their version of The Pillowman. Due to the play's mature content, audience members are advised that it is suitable for people aged 16 and above. Book your stay at the Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore
