The Wrap! Festival 2008 - which celebrates the best in Asian cuisine - is scheduled to take place in Singapore next month, organisers have announced.

Forming part of the Explore Singapore season of events, the Wrap! Festival also includes a musical extravaganza and takes place at the Asian Civilisations Museum on Sunday December 7th between 13:00 (local time) and 18:00.

The five-hour event will also include a special magic show in the galleries at 14:30, offering spectators the chance to appreciate the talents of Singapore's top magicians including Jeremy Pei.

A special performance by Nanta - who took to the stage at the 1999 Edinburgh Fringe Festival - will also be featured, showcasing traditional Korean drumming techniques combined with comedic and dramatic performances.

There will also be a Dikir Barat performance, along with tunes courtesy of top musical duo Jack and Rai.

Tickets to the event will be sold at a special rate of S$2 per person (usual prices are S$8 for adults and S$4 for concessions). Desserts are sold separately.
