Holidaymakers booked into a Singapore hotel this summer will be able to enjoy one of the highlights of the city's annual festival calendar.

On July 10th and 11th the Night Festival will return, allowing party-goers to celebrate throughout the night and enjoy a range of live music, dance and interactive light installations.

Visit Shanghai states: "The most talked-about event of the year is finally back … an event for the entire family not to be missed."

Festivities will begin at 19:30 local time and continue until the small hours of the morning, as local performers take centre stage to entertain the crowds.

This year's event will be opened with a dance show, featuring 80 performers "ready to delight", while the celebrations will end with a pyrotechnics show by Germany group Pan Optikum.

Earlier this year, Singapore was named the best sight-seeing city in the Asia-Pacific region at the annual Seoul Tourism Awards.
