Taiwanese singer Judy Ongg makes her Singapore debut next week with a concert date as part of her world tour.

The international singer, who has also made a successful foray into film and stage acting, will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Monday October 24th at 20:00 (local time).

Known as one of the Three Treasures of Taiwan along with baseball sensation Sadaharu Oh and chess champion Lin Hai-feng, Ongg will be performing a range of hit songs from her repertoire including classics in five languages - Mandarin, English, Japanese, Hokkien and Cantonese.

Ongg, whose illustrious career spans five decades, is known for her varied and cosmopolitan fan base, which is a testament to her own diverse background.

Highlights of her career include winning the Best Actress in a Leading Role accolade in the Golden Horse Awards and the Special Performance Award at the Asian Film Festival.

Ongg's 1979 smash hit Miserarete sold two million copies and holds the all-time record in Japan for selling 100,000 copies in a single day.
