News|Ceasefire exhibit in SingaporeCeasefire was launched on December 12th and will be shown at Galerie Joaquin Singapore, The Regent Singapore until December 26th. The two-man show will feature a wide selection of the Filipino artists' work, which make use of both realism and metaphor. Rasco and Penuliar are friends and former classmates, who both graduated from the University of Philippines' College of Fine Arts. Rasco first gained notice in the art world in 2007, when his White, Red, Black triptych was auctioned in Singapore. He is widely known for his signature subject - a nude woman draped in a piece of coloured cloth. Penuliar meanwhile, is noted for using his artworks as a vehicle for social commentary and for the wide-ranging themes that his pieces deal with.
