News|Asia's finest art on display at Singapore MuseumBeing held at the Singapore Art Museum, the Earth and Water exhibition is a collection of works from across the south-east Asia region. Though the paintings and sculpture vary significantly in style and form, they all take the central theme of portraying everyday life in not only Singapore, but also in the likes of Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia. As such, the exhibition, which closes its doors at the end of March, allows both locals and guests staying in Singapore hotels the chance to learn more about the varied cultures and traditions of the region's 500 million people. Travellers failing to make it in time for the Earth and Water exhibition can nevertheless take in many of the finest examples of Asian art at the acclaimed Singapore Art Museum. Until December 2010, the museum is also playing host to the Seeing the Kites Again exhibition, a collection of 113 of the most important works of Chinese artist Wu Guanzhong.
