News|1938: An Evening of Big Band Swing and Dance in SingaporeThe show, which takes place at the Victoria Junior College Concert Hall on the evening of February 27th, will transport visitors back to the golden era of swing. A hundred swing dancers from all over the world will pack the dance floor at the venue, performing famous routines like the Lindy Hop, Charleston and Tap. Music will be provided by the Summertimes Big Band, performing all the biggest hits from the era that are guaranteed to get guests up and dancing. Among the line-up of international dancers will be 83-year-old swing legend Dawn Hampton, as well as fleet-footed Swedish pair Hanna Zetterman and Mattias Lundmark.
